Describe some quality or feature of the company. Write a short paragraph about it and choose an appropriate icon.
Ordinary photos merely hang on the wall, silent and devoid of tales. They often serve as mere reminders of the studio backdrop rather than capturing the essence of your incredible family. But imagine a portrait infused with your cherished passions—be it the elegance of wine, the nostalgia of Pokémon, the creativity of LEGO, or the sweetness of cakes. Such a picture doesn't just show faces; it radiates joy, evoking smiles every time you glance its way.

Q
What happens after our photoshootl?
A The magic! I will put together your unique Story 9 and invite you back to the studio to see it revealed. Together we can make any changes, choose your frame and then all we have to do is excitedly wait for your wall art to arrive.
Q How long does a session last?
A I always suggest allowing around one or two hours. I never book anyone in directly after you so that there's absolutely no pressure and no rush. The children can even have a run around in the garden!
Q What should we wear?
A Don't panic! We'll have all of that covered in our 'virtual' cuppa. We can chat about it all then.
“Sally made us welcome in her studio with Elsie our dog. She used our ideas and hers to perfectly capture our family's story.”
Tracy
"Fabulous job with our story box. We all had so much fun, so relaxed. The results were great, so good that we ordered two different pieces of wall art!"
Angela
Q Can the whole family join in?
A Absolutely! No one will want to be left out, this is for everyone..including the family dog!
Q What if my children won't play ball?
A Kids will be kids and making it fun makes all the difference. They'll love jumping in the box and having fun with their props and toys.
Q What kind of things can we bring?
A Nerf guns, scooters, giant dinosaurs & silly hats..just some of the crazy fun things that families bring to the studio. What do you and your family love?

I was 14 when my parents gave me my first camera, igniting a passion that would shape my life. My Dad loved photography which nurtured a secret desire to be a cameraman (I never told a soul!) Winning a school photo competition at 16 further fueled my dreams.
I always had an adventurous spirit which led me to various paths. In 1996, I gave it all up to work on a cruise ship, always exploring, I earned the label of "shore leave queen." My love for travel took me to the ultimate outdoors adventure in New Zealand, where I worked and explored. My time in New Zealand allowed me to find myself and realise my true calling.
A turning point came in 2000 when I decided to pursue my passion for portrait photography.
Returning to Essex, I dived into events and conferences, thriving on creativity. I organised adventures and exhibitions worldwide, moving into my house in 2006, where the garage became the birthplace of my dreams. My journey was filled with challenges, but the business slowly grew, and I went full time, loving every moment in the studio.
From building the garden studio in 2018 to creating "the box" in 2019 I was on a roll. The lockdown in 2020 gave me space to think and revamp the business, focusing on creating memories rather than just taking photos. From 2020 to 2023, my work evolved to include recipes, nature, and outdoor cake smashes with unique yoghurt iced cakes.
My personal journey took on new depths when my Mum was diagnosed with Dementia in 2014. She eventually moved to a care home and it was there at a family photo session that I witnessed the most profound impact a photograph can have. My realisation that photographs are actually treasure for others really shaped my approach.
Memories have the power to make us smile, to bridge the gap between past and present and no one should regret not having these memories to make them smile.
